Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
BabyMonitor Luna ("we", "our", or "us") is provided by DF Tech Consulting AB, which is the controller of the personal data described here. This policy explains what we collect when you use the iOS app, the web app at babymonitorluna.com, and this website, and what we do with it.
2. Information we collect
- Account: your email address. You sign in with a one-time email code, Sign in with Apple, or Google — we never receive or store a password.
- Family and devices: your family's name, the email addresses of people you invite, and for each device its name, role (baby or parent), online status and, when the device reports it, battery level.
- Activity alerts: the time, device and sound level of sound, low-battery and offline events, shown in the Activity timeline to everyone in your family.
- Audio and video: live streams go directly between your devices, encrypted with WebRTC (DTLS-SRTP). When a direct connection isn't possible they pass through a relay server that cannot decrypt them. Streams are never recorded or stored.
- Push notification tokens so we can send sound and device alerts to your family's phones.
- Purchases: Apple processes payments. We receive your subscription status, not your payment details.
- Usage and diagnostics: which features are used, connection quality, and crash reports, to keep the service working and improve it.
3. The web app
The web app asks for your browser's permission before using the microphone or camera, and only uses them while you are monitoring or talking to your baby. Your browser stores your sign-in session, a device identifier, the device name and your preferences (such as theme and sound sensitivity) locally so they are there next time. Clearing your browser data removes them.

- To connect your devices and deliver the monitoring service

- To understand usage, fix problems and improve the service
5. Service providers
We rely on a small number of providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (accounts and database), Apple (App Store, payments, Sign in with Apple, push notifications), Google (Sign in with Google, Firebase and Google Analytics for app and website analytics), RevenueCat (subscription status), and our hosting provider for the signaling and relay servers. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Data retention
We keep your account, family and device information while your account is active. Activity alerts stay until someone in the family deletes them or the family is deleted. You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app or the web app, which removes your account data.
7. Children's privacy
The service is meant to be operated by parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and audio and video of your child are never stored.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us below. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — in Sweden, the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
